I have 3 step sons: 13 - 11 - 8 (I have a 10 yo daughter and my wife and I have a 3 yo son together. My daughter is not like this at all. My 3 year old is not (as far as I can tell) but I am worried he is just going to follow suit.
The home is filled with negativity...
EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING is a whining, crying, mad response to everything. Its a true factory of negativity and sadness on a daily basis.
"I don't like that... thats stupid...I don't like that teacher...I hate school...I have too much homework...its too loud...I'm bored...this is no fun...thats the dumbest tv show...that team sucks...i can't do this".... The list goes on and on.
Its driving me crazy. NEVER happy about ANYTHING and VERY unappreciative. Even vacation...turns in to a ungrateful adventure. We already canceled next year. This also does NOT include all the fighting in between the 3 boys.
All it does is bring me down emotionally. It takes a toll. I don't know what to do anymore. I have brought it up to my wife but there is never a solution.
